So I was tagged by my sister-in-law Michelle. (Thanks a million)

Y = Year of Learning........Changes.........It's almost a year that my whole life changed (Oct 26) It definately changed for the better and a lot of lessons were learned and I am doing well....God is good.

N = Neater....... I like things organized and put in it's place these days, in previous times, I could have cared less......

N = Not good at this. I am so not good at these types of things. Doesn't help my middle name is a difficult one

Family Dinner

Just some photo's today from our family dinner. We had yummy KFC and went to the zoo to celebrate Katie, Johnny, Arianna and Alex's birthdays. Even though Alex wasn't present and Lia, Scott, and Maddiw; we sang the birthday song and got a chance to talk to them on the phone while we were at the zoo.

We all miss them so much but are proud that they are following God's call.

Crazy

I am lacking in the updating my blog on a more regular basis.

Things have been a little crazy around my world.

I've been busy working.....So much going on right now. We just had our company pig roast that we (me and Lynette from work) have been planning for quite some time. It was a good time. It was nice that I got to enjoy some of it but not much. It was a big sucess (we estimate that about 500 people were there) and I will attach some photo's...Dan and Michelle and the kids were able to attend and from what I heard they had a good time.

Other things at work....well we are looking to hire about 150 people by January. So yeah that means....I am one busy girl. We are truly blessed with all the business but it can be overwheleming at times.

Tom is super great for all of you that wonder.....I know there are some out there. He's still treating me good ( I know my dad always needs to hear that) He's been just as busy as me. He coaches soccer and on the weekends keeps busy with pretty much everything. The man can't sit still. Reminds me of Scott Leenstra when he lived in Michigan. LOL. Tom and I had my parents and Johnny over last weekend for dinner and then we played Tribond. Tom as usual did all the cooking.....it was delightful and we enjoyed the time spent. We did finally relax a little on Sunday, watching football, which is not my favorite but I got a good, much needed nap out of it.

How did I do it???

So today I did one of the most dumbest things imaginable.

Most of you know that I do not enjoy mornings. Most mornings I tend to just sleep walk my way out the door, into the car, and then on to work.

So this morning. I am getting ready to head out the door, shut the lights out, put my shoes on and onward I go......

I get to work, walk in the back door, passed some people.....who are kind enough to say hi and I of course just mumble back and give the look of death....and then it hits me......I look down and this is what I see......

How did this happen, and how in the world did I not notice this? Different size heals even!!! Honestly......Oh what a Friday....All I can say is at least I have a good friend that was kind enough to bring me a new pair of shoes.....

NEW YORK

This blog post is overdue, that I do know.

Tom and I went to New York for a wedding. Tom was in the wedding. The wedding was 1 hour and 43 minutes long......and yes, Tom had to stand the entire time. It was in an older church so there was no air conditioning.

Tom's sister Tina and her husband Joel also went to New York. On the way there Tom and I got lost and took a nice tour of Ithica, New York. Lots of vineyards, dirt roads, lakes, and hills. It was a beautiful place. For some crazy reason we didn't take any pictures. I think we were both concentrating on finding the hotel and to rush to the rehearsal dinner. We left Michigan at 3am and finally arrived our destination at 3pm...long time to be in a car. And after a 12 hour trip being in the car, we still managed to get along...

On the way home the four of us stopped in Buffalo New York for the Buffalo Wings Festival. It was a good time....and many memories were made.
